September 5th, 2010: Parkside Movie theatre and parking lots.

After making the Postitsforlove notes the night before, the four of us decided to post them on cars at a local movie theatre. The theatre is surrounded by many restaurants, a prime place for cars and potential postit hits. Here are a few pictures of the making of the love notes.

After a quick starbucks visit (we needed our coffee fix) we got to work!

hopefully soon we will be together again (we are seperated by colleges at the moment) and have another postitsforlove adventure.  I hope this inspires some of you to do this in your own town, or maybe even at your college. I know soon I’m going to get with some friends here and post them around our campus(hopefully). Show us your pictures! We’d love to see what you have accomplished.

Together we can change the world, one lovenote at a time

— I decided to write in here som eof the things we experienced whilst sitting in my car watching people get the postits. Unfortunatly not all responses were positive. We only saw one case of someone throwing their postit on the ground, which did make us sad. However, we heard a few aws, saw a lot of smiles, and witnessed those who got one walk around looking at what the other cars had on them. We saw people holding them as they got in their cars and then (possibly) talking about them to the passenger (we only put them on the drivers side windows). We were almost caught in the act while getting in our car because the car next to us asked if we had got one too. (we said yes, he asked what it said, we said “you’re amazing” and asked what his said, it said “have a great night!” and then we got in our cars and drove away. he was smiling though so i think he enjoyed it 🙂 ). In our minds, as long as one person got something beneficial from it it was worth it.
